Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha, is prominently known as the City of Temples and is widely admired worldwide for its rich history and Indian archaeological remains. With more than 700 temples, Bhubaneshwar is a significant religious centre for Hindus. Many of these temples date back to the 7th Century and are dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Shiva, and Devi.
On the other hand, Puri is a beautiful beach town situated in the Bay of Bengal. It is prominent with the presence of the famous Jagannath Temple, which is the home of Lord Jagannath. It is considered one of the most beautiful regions of India, and lakhs of devotees visit during the famous Jagannath Yatra.
DAY 1: Arrival at Bhubaneshwar
On day 01, our team representative will meet you at the Bhubaneswar Railway Station/Airport and lead you to your hotel destination. Once the formalities are done, we can rest and visit Khandagiri, Udayagiri Jain cave, and Nandankanan Zoo on the same day. If you have time, do not miss EkamraHaat, where you can see Odisha's prominent handicraft works.
DAY 2: The Amazing Tour To Jagannath Puri
The next day, you can head to Puri, 68 km from Bhubaneswar. While moving towards Puri, you can explore Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Sakhigopal temple, Raghurajpur painting village, and Pipili village. After reaching Puri, check into your hotel. Then, you can explore the beach and the market full of seafood and beautiful products at affordable prices.
DAY 3: Tour To Chilika Lake
Begin day 03 of the tour with a soul-soothing darshan of Lord Jagannath Puri and attend the divine Aarti. The next is Gundicha Temple, the destination of the annually celebrated Rath Yatra. After that, we can move forward to Chilika Lake at Satapada to capture the beautiful natural view of the seaside. If you're lucky, you can view dolphins performing somersaults. Later, you can also visit the Alarnath Temple.
After that, you can visit Gundicha Temple and start your journey to Chilika Lake at Satapada. Here, you can enjoy the dolphins' actions and the seaside view. You can also visit the Alarnath temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
DAY 4: Tour To Konark
The fourth day of your tour will be dedicated to one of Lord Surya Dev's most ancient and iconic temples, Konark Temple. After that, we will move on to the Ramachandi Temple. You can also take a stroll at Chandrabhaga Beach. After that, you can return to Puri and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
DAY 5: Departure From Bhubaneswar
On day 05, we will leave for Bhubaneswar to explore Parashurameswar, Lingaraj, Rarajani, and Mukteshwar. After this, you will head to the Railway station or Bhubaneswar Airport to depart for your hometown with sweet memories of the tour.
