Located in Guwahati, Kamakhya Devi Temple is in the Nilachal Hills of the western Guwahati region. It is one of the 51 most important Shakti Peeths in India. Gracing the banks of the holy Brahmaputra River, the temple is a must-visit for Devi worship, as it is said that the goddess’s womb fell here. This is one of India's oldest and most revered centres of Devi worship and tantric practices. People from all over the world also flock here for various Devi fairs and festivals throughout the year.

DAY 01: Arrival in Guwahati
Upon arriving in Guwahati, you will be greeted by our tour manager. After reaching and checking into your allotted hotel, you will be given some time to freshen up. After this, you will be taken for a brief visit and Darshan to Kalakshetra, where the Assamese culture is beautifully depicted. A visit to Vashisht Ashram will be next on the tour plan. We will return to the hotel in Guwahati by the evening for dinner and rest overnight.

DAY 02: Guwahati - Kamakhya Devi Darshan - Guwahati
After breakfast, you will be taken to your holy Darshan at the Kamakhya Devi Temple. We suggest you get a special pass to avoid the long wait time. On reaching and after completing the Darshan, you will be ferried off on a chartered boat to the Umananda Island Temple. The beauty of this island is so pretty that the English explorers and officers visiting here described it as the peacock island. A visit to the Navagraha Temple and the Sukreswar Ghat will follow this. By evening, you will be taken for a breathtaking cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Finally, after a day of exhilarating spirituality, you will be returned to your hotel in Guwahati for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 03: Guwahati Departure
After breakfast and checking out, you will be dropped off at your departure location. This will mark the end of your Kamakhya Temple Tour with us.
